Like a great musical composition, technology integration relies on different instruments working together to enhance an experience.  That experience for me is learning.  I am a teacher, and as a teacher, I use technology to improve the quality of learning for my students.  Technology has the power to grab a student's attention and increase his or her motivation to learn.  It can also invite social cognition.  Students working in harmony--I like the sound of that!

Just as a conductor of music leads a group of musicians, I feel that it is up to me to be a leader of technology integration among my fellow colleagues.  Through the Technology for Education and Training (TET) graduate program, I have gained resources to help me accomplish that task.  On the pages that follow, you will find a composition of work that I have completed during the past year in the TET program.  Also during this time, I was involved in the Professional Development Center program (PDC) where I had the experience of teaching my first year with alongside an experienced teacher.  It was a wonderful mentorship program that taught me the importance of collaboration in education.  Because the PDC program is what led me to TET in the first place, I have included work from this experience as well.
